A good photograph should usually find favour with a judge. The main objective of the talk is to outline how engaging with club competitions should lead to an improvement in members’ photography. David will go through all the different elements which make up a good image and how in practice a judge might consider these aspects as they critique an image.
There will be lots of examples of images which demonstrate good and not so good examples of what a judge should be looking for in different genres and how to avoid some common mistakes.
