Members can choose to join any of the Special Interest Groups we currently have. Ad hoc meetings are organised to suit. All details of the Special Interest Groups is available on ‘Teams’.
Landscape Photography
All about the world in which we live and recording the wonderful places for others to enjoy. Techniques are explored and may involve organised trips to put them into effect.
Street Photography
Discovering a wide range of subject matter that exists on our streets today. Not literally photographing streets but the candid and, importantly, unscripted recording of everyday life and human interaction in public spaces.
Nature Photography
For those who enjoy the special challenge of capturing images of the flora and fauna that surround us.
Audio Visual
A harmony of images and sound to create an informative, entertaining or amusing presentation. This is one area of photography where the result can be produced by more than one person.
New Skills
“It’s not about the competition” is the tagline for this group and is aimed at educating to improve all skills involved in learning how to get more from the camera you use. Learning how to improve during competitions can be challenging but, in this group, the opportunity for learning is greater.
